- Money must come from a bank account in your name. A transfer from someone else is held and returned, which stops a stolen account from being cashed out through yours.
- Holds after security changes
- If you change your password, phone or 2FA, withdrawals pause for 24 to 72 hours. If someone else did it, that window is when you can stop them. The app shows the hold and when it ends.

- Sign-in needs a second factor, and every money movement needs your PIN. New devices need approval.

What does nexX cost?
Buys and sells carry a 0.5% fee, shown as its own line before you confirm. On a buy, the fee comes off what you pay and the rest converts at the rate shown. On a sell, you get the value at the sell rate minus the fee. NGN deposits are free. NGN withdrawals cost ₦50. On-chain withdrawals show the network fee plus a small margin before you confirm. Transfers to other nexX users are free. Gift cards show the rate per dollar before you submit. The full fee schedule is one page.
How fast are deposits and withdrawals?
Bank transfers are credited when they arrive, usually within a couple of minutes. NGN withdrawals to your own bank usually take under 10 minutes. On-chain times depend on the network. Some transfers are held for review, and we tell you why.
Which coins can I buy?
We plan to launch with BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, SOL, TRX and XRP. An asset can be shown before it can be traded while we wait for approval, and the app says so.
Can my account be frozen, and why?
Yes, in some cases. We may restrict an account while we verify your identity, when a deposit comes from an account that is not yours, after a security change such as a new phone or password, or when the law requires it. We tell you what happened and what to do next. We cannot always share the details of a compliance review.
Is nexX licensed?
We're applying under SEC Nigeria's digital asset rules; we will not take customer money until we're authorised.

Adults living in Nigeria with a BVN or NIN. We do not support accounts outside Nigeria yet.
